MIL1590 wide band amplifiers will continue in new partnership between Lansdale and Freescale - News

Phoenix, Ariz. Freescale and Lansdale Semiconductor Inc. have partnered to manufacture a wide band amplifier with AGC. The ML1590/BGA - originally designed and built by Motorola/Fresscale Semiconductor Inc. - will continue to be available at Lansdale and is supplied in (8) lead metal cans to Standard Microcircuit Drawing (SMD) 5962-876570 integrated circuits (ICs).

NXP buys Freescale, maker of PowerPC technology - News

AUSTIN, Texas. Officials at NXP Semiconductors N.V. and Freescale Semiconductor, Ltd. announced that the two companies have signed a definitive agreement that will have NXP merge with Freescale in a transaction valued at just over $40 billion. Freescale's PowerPC chips fuel computing and signal processing in many defense electronics applications such as avionics, radar, and electronic warfare.
